Volunteer Coordinator
As the volunteer coordinator you would organize volunteer efforts. This would involve being the main point of contact for the volunteers. This individual would coordinate/schedule round table discussions, service days, social events, and training for our volunteers. They would also manage volunteer applications and ensure key volunteer positions are filled.
2 hours per week
Outreach and Activism Team Member
Passionate about fighting for the rights of the poor and vulnerable? This person would participate in marches, be active in the community, sign petitions, attend city council and zoning board meetings, and generally inform the Sacred Tent Community on opportunities to change the world around us. Additionally, this person will connect with other charities that have similar values to broaden the impact of Sacred Tent.
1-2 hours per week
Grant Writer
We are looking for individuals to partner with the Sacred Tent Board Members in applying for charity and government grants to fund operations. This person will help shape the story of Sacred Tent. This is an opportunity for someone to leverage their strong communication skills to support a worthy cause.
1 hour per week
Host Family Coach
We are looking for individuals who can help counsel and coach host families. They would also meet with host families and help train them prior to hosting. No experience needed with hosting individuals experiencing homelessness. Experience in conflict resolution, social work, and education would all be great backgrounds.
1 hour per week
Case Worker
The case worker works directly with our guests to secure the services they need. They meet with them weekly and help them look for jobs, housing opportunities, make doctor appointments, apply for financial aid, secure transportation, and generally help navigate the web of social services. This position would be great for someone in school, recent graduate, or experienced social worker or educator.

Friend
We are looking for a individuals who can just be there for our guests. This person will have no agenda besides showing love. They will be available to grab coffee, catch a movie, answer a text message, go for a walk, share a meal, and talk with our guests, treating them with human dignity and compassion. This is an opportunity for someone of any background. We all need friends.
1-2 hours per week
Financial Instructor
Help our guests achieve financial stability and independence by being a financial instructor. This person will help teach classes on budgeting, loans, credit cards, housing, savings, and government aid. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a business or finance background that is looking to make an impact.
1 hour per week
Goal Setting Instructor
This individual will lead a goal-setting class to help instruct our guests in how to set and achieve meaningful goals. Assist the guests in taking one step at a time towards independence and help them realize their full potential. This is an opportunity for someone of any background.
